About Us

The Sarah-Jettie Community Development Corporation (SJCDC) is a 501(c) 3 non-profit corporation. The SJCD is named for Sarah Katie Miller and Jettie who lived to always help any and all persons who were in need. The Sarah-Jettie Community Development Center is focused on assisting those at-risk children, adolescents, adults and families who are defined as low to moderate income families that are struggling with day to day issues that hold them captive and cause them to be unproductive in their daily lives.

Founders Quinten & Mya Cullins 

The vision of the Sarah-Jettie Community Development Corporation was developed by Mya and Quinten Cullins due to the influence both their grandmothers played in their life. They have created varies programs and services to ensure the legacy lives on through the teaching of their grandmothers (Sarah and Jettie). Quinten and Mya ultimate desire is to reach out to those persons in the community who have an identified need that are considered at risk to assist through the programs and services her at Sarah-Jettie Community Development.

Mya's Bio

As the Founder of Sarah-Jettie Community Development., Mya Cullins brings countless years of experience to this field as well as the education to assist her with building healthier children, adults and families. She has in-depth knowledge and a crystal clear understanding of using a holistic approach to break down the many stigmas that are generally associated with the at risk population. Through this skill, she is able to truly change lives for a better future.
Mya Cullins received her Bachelor's degree from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University in Social Work. Upon graduating, Mya immediately continued her studies at Capella University where she received her Master of Science degree in Counseling Studies. She is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
Mya has done a wide range of community through Sarah-Jettie Community Development events bringing people together and creating a much needed support system for those are defined as low to moderate income families that are struggling with day to day issues that hold them captive and cause them to be unproductive in their daily lives . It is obvious through her success with providing resources, services, and treatment with the at risk population she truly has an authentic calling to provide quality and professional services to all persons affected by these diseases.
Mya addresses the immediate needs of others through her self-motivation, determination, and spirit of excellence to do whatever is ethically possible to assure that the person served is treated as people first, despite their situation. Using her eye for the at-risk population, Mya spearheads and develops various projects through Sarah-Jettie Community Development which in essence makes her a natural born leader in our community.
Mya Cullins' confidence and expertise has been developed by a 10-year track record of success. She does not believe in stagnation, especially when there is still a need in the community.

Quinten's Bio 

Quinten Cullins is the Co Founder of Sarah-Jettie Community Development where he brings such an astronomical presence through his commitment to the person served, experiences, knowledge, and therapeutic strategies utilized to assure that the highest standard of care is being promoted throughout the programs and services here at Sarah-Jettie Community Development. His expertise is providing hands on services through his direct centered approach to servicing at-risk youth, adults, individuals, and families within the community at large. He studied at North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University majoring in Sociology. He has a strong passion and desire to plant positive seeds through his varied services and programs with Sarah-Jettie Community Development. He enjoys building community partnerships with other individuals to server the need of the people. One of his signature programs that he will be spearheading across several cities of Georgia, entails his dynamic vision to empower the middle school & high school at risk males and is known as Q10&Son Youth Mentoring Program. This program, in collaboration with his son’s Quinten Jr, and Nygil Cullins, inspires middle school & high school males to go after their dreams and vision despite of the obstacles that may arise. This is in addition to the overall services that is also offered to the community in various catchment areas. Through Quinten's reputation, dedication, commitment, character, integrity, strong partnerships, and overall service delivery he is truly a trailblazer for the at-risk population to change their lives for a better future.
